Thanks, Tony . I have a Gopro 6 Black. The 7 apparently has better stabilization, but I didn't want to pay the extra $80-$100, and the 6 seems pretty good. By "double soundtrack", I'm not sure whether you mean the two songs or the fact that you can hear the engine and the music at the same time. This was my first attempt at adding music to a video - the engine/music soundtrack was completely by accident - I just hit the "add music" button, and that's what I got, so I left it. I'm using Windows Movie Maker, which is pretty simple and does what I need to do.
I notice that even though I upload my videos to YouTube in HD (1920 x 1080), they still seem to lose a fair amount of clarity relative to the "raw" footage. Apparently the speed of one's internet connection can affect this, and since my upload speed is typically less than 0.5 Megs/sec, maybe that's why.
Am adding a photo of my mount - I paid about $18 for some Gopro accessories on Amazon, and got about 40 various bits and pieces, some of which I still don't know what they are, but I used a couple of bits from there to make it - actually a pretty good deal, as it has things I can use when snorkeling and wing suit flying (just joking about the wing suit)
