New poly bush type top wishbones arrived this week from Alan. Although the adjustable rose joint is probably the best option, Alan has produced a simpler wishbone which allows for camber and caster adjustment, and keeping inline with the Triking philosophy of “Driving at it’s most elemental” this wishbone fits the bill.
Just waiting to pick up from the powder coaters and to do the final fit.
PS. The photo seems to depict one wishbone larger that the the other, it’s an optical illusion 🥴

When the car turns out to be wider on one side than the other, and you keep hitting the kerb, assume it's an optical illusion

Top poly bush type wishbones now powder coated and fitted. Difficult to find a base to exactly flat to adjust the caster angle, but after working out the base angle I managed to set around 4 degrees and testing it on the road it feels about right, and more and the steering gets stiffer although the steering centring improves.

This week, I have replaced my original Fornales rear shockers from the donor bike with a pair of Hagon Nitro.
Fantastic. The front suspension modifications were superb, this is the icing on the cake.
The ride is now far superior to my old BMW tin-top.
Anyone considering building would do well to including the front and rear upgrade.
May put the build price up a bit but sure is worth it.

Thanks for the update on the rear shocks, as soon as my pension allows I will order a pair from Alan.

I reckon I've sorted my suspension, Maxton front shocks and Hagon Nitro on the back ( cheaper than Maxton) I recommend going for the soft valve setting ( built at factory, no.1 ) and 23kg Springs on the Nitro's.

Hi Dick. I went for 36cm long Nitro's. Concerned with UJ binding if I ever got full length on shock over bumps or airborne ! I have short swing arm fitted in my Type 2.
