Stuttering and running on one cilinder

I have recently made a beautiful run with my Type 3, but after 40 miles(60 km) the engine started stuttering when cornering.
I had to rev the engine and noticed it had trouble picking up the revs and speed, it felt like flooding the engine but when running idle it was fine and the engine just ran beautiful .
Every time I tried to pick up speed it hold back and stuttered.
Coming at speed 3-4000 revs it was fine, lower revs it had a little stutter.
I had to rev the engine to keep speed and power every time I took a corner( no difference in a left or right hand corner).
I have a California 3 , 946ccm carb engine standard with classic ignition (brakerpoints).
Again the engine runs fine in idle.
I have a suspicion that the ignition is at fault, can anyone advice or does anyone recommend electronic ignition.
Greetings Henk

Symptoms sound more like a blocked jet in the carburettor to me.

I would strip and clean the carb on the offending side.

Do you have a fuel filter?

Cheers
Mike

Check for water in the float bowls, put container under when you take them off.

The carburetors are suspect as well, but I do have a extra fuel filter.
The carburetors has been cleaned only 700km ago and I haven’t run the Triking in the rain nor in the wet.
I use only E5(98RON) fuel, but I will check so I can tick that of the list.

I would check the following.
1. Fuel filter
2. Coils? Does it get worse when its hot? Is one cylinder hotter than the other? If yes, swap the coils from one side to the other. If temp difference changes it could be coils. I had a Guzzi 850T years ago that I chased similar issues for months until I got new coils and the issue went away.
3. Some on this forum mentioned a while ago that the carburated Trikings can have the fuel slosh to the side of the bowl when cornering causing a similar issue. There is a white plastic washer by the main jet that is supposed to help but I am unsure of this as my engine is injected.
4. Fuel pump. Is the pressure ok?

This is the ignition I used on the 850T. Work really well. Not sure if it works on the California.

Hallo,
Good news from the stuttering California 3 , 949ccm .
The problem is solved, after checking the setting of the stationairy screws on the carburators , the engine is finally running super smoothly, temperature is of both cylinders equal.
No more stuttering when picking up speed or accelerating out of a corner.
Thanks for the support and suggestions.
