Replying to a private message

Hi
I’m new to the forum and have received a private message, however I am unable to reply to it.
Any ideas ?

It's a bit slow.
There is a Send Reply box, compose your message then click Submit.
Messages wait to be sent in 'Scheduled Tasks', dictated by the host site.
So it may look as though it hasn't gone. Hmm.

OK thanks. It appears that I still have to take part in a few more on line discussions as the compose message box is blocked.
