Guzzi 1200 2V Sport - oil catcher mounting points

Has anybody drilled into these two lugs on top of the 1200 sport 2V engine. Located between the cylinders towards the back. They appear to be solid in construction. They would be ideal for fitting a bracket. I was thinking drill and tap to M6 to 10 mm depth. Fit studs with green loctite.

Sometimes you just have to have the courage of your covictions.
Ive drilled the holes M6 to a depth of 13mm. No problem.
A couple of titanium exhaust studs will fit nicely with a bit of studlocker.
Hope this helps anybody who had thought of the same thing.
