Don't know whether the tunnel is the same size on the Type 4 as on my Type 2, which has less than 1/8" clearance between the reverse gearbox and the RHS of the tunnel, which causes loud thrumming noises on RH turns without a passenger, presumably due to torque on the gearbox bushings and/or flexing of the tunnel causing the gearbox to touch the side of the tunnel. May only occur on LHD Trikings, due to weight distribution . Would advise that if you also only have about !/8", jam/glue some sort of soft cushioning in that gap while you have easy access.
