Special tool for setting the carc spindle locking ring.
Guzzi recommend setting at 10 nm but it requires a special tool.
Easy homemade one can be made using a cheap 30mm socket and an angle grinder and a bit of filing.
Mine is a bit function over form but does the job. Socket cost me £4-80. I know people will say, "do it by feel" but I always think if manufacturers give torque values, they do so for a reason.

Well done indeed sir! Are you going to share a picture please? [You may need to reduce the size of photo. If you didn't happen to know about that, instructions, should you need them are in the last Trifles newsletter sent out last week.] Please let me know your email via private message, if you would like one/didn't get one.

Re: Carc swingarm spindle locking ring
Did you overhaul the bearings in the knuckle and yoke. Mine were an advisory on the last MOT.

Here's the photo. Not very pretty, but hey, it works and it was cheap to produce!!
Re: Carc swingarm spindle locking ring
Forgot to add, I replaced all the bearings and seals in the knuckle and also fitted new swing arm bearings. Copious amounts of grease of course!!!!!
