Bonnet / Boot cover fasteners

Post by gogboy » Wed Apr 02, 2025 6:59 am

I was checking out a previous post regarding panel fasteners. So many choices but I always think simplest is best.

After much searching I came across these quick release fasteners. They look good and are quick release. Above all they are simple.

Brilliant long term solution for the Triking bonnet & boot.
At nearly £100 more for a set compared with my existing M6 csk screws, but well worth it bearing in mide how many times the bonnet and boot will be removed.

These have been fitted to the rear by Guy who organised the Buxton Rally a couple of years ago and work well apparently. As WEG says the M6 CSK stainless steel screws are a more economical solution.
I use an electric screwdriver or Allen spinner to remove my Triking covers and everyone knows how often I do that! :-)
