Suspension tuning

Post by DavidD » Fri May 31, 2024 5:14 pm

I have been looking for information on understeer and oversteer tuning. I’ve listed some changes that can be tried. Hope it’s useful.

The one key parameter that needs to be correct to give enjoyable motoring is the tracking.
3mm toe in.
Caster angle is the next critical for steering feel.
5deg lean back, but well worth experimenting if you have the time.
Lots on the list come under regular maintenance, and/or are for the purist going racing.
