Copied from the email notice on 19th Dept 2018

Trikings in Yorkshire 26th-28th July 2019
Now is the time – we have all the news you need for the Annual Triking gathering.

The main base is Goathland – a village in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside – Known as “Aidensfield” in the TV Series of Heartbeat.
It is situated amidst moorland and close to the Sea with fabulous moorlands roads, and some fairly steep hills! Make certain your disc pads are in good order…. It will be nice to show off our back yard to all of you Trikingistas.

We have booked “The Inn on the moor” hotel as the main hub, and they have kindly given us a 10% discount.
When booking please quote “Triking event” with both hotels, who require a £50.00 deposit payable when booking.

Main venue: The Inn on the Moor Goathland YO22 5LZ (10% Discount) Tel: 01947 896296
Email: info@theinnonthemoorhotel.co.uk
Web: www.theinnonthemoorhotel.co.uk

Overflow hotel – in Goathland within walking distance.
Mallyan Spout Hotel Goathland YO22 5AN (no discount available) Tel: 01947 896486
Email: bookings@mallyanspout.co.uk
Web: www.mallyanspouthotel.com

Please make your bookings quickly as it is the start of the main busy season.

As it is a prime tourist area, there are many other options with Bed & Breakfast, Holiday Cottages etc. in the village, the internet will help but we can be contacted Roger tel: 07748725613 or Debs email debs@moorsweb.co.uk

The hub hotel are offering bar meals on Friday evening, so we can arrive as it suits and eat and gather for a pleasant evenings relaxation to kick off the weekend.

Saturday we have 2 differing run options, and a sit down meal – menu choices to be made nearer the time, whilst Sunday we have further plans, there are also many other attractions for those of you choosing to stay on longer.

Further updates will follow- but get your accommodation booked early to avoid disappointment.

Well spotted Dick.
I've amended this site but there must be lots of people with the wrong email address.
I think they must be fully booked by now, academic.

Just to confirm that I've booked for the meeting. Mind you, I've just had an accident in my Triking so have some work to do to get her back on the road in time for it! More details on another thread.

Do you know how easy or otherwise it would be to park a car and trailer somewhere? No room at the Inn as they say and our alternative accommodation choice does not have that much space....
Thanks
Dave

For people concerned about trailer & tow car parking, we might be able to come up with a solution but it would be approx 20 miles from the main venue Debs & Roger.
