Took the Triking to a "local" car show (50 miles) - it was a beautiful day - as usual had to decide what category to be in - three choices- motorcycles, convertibles or British cars. Ended up choosing British cars, of which there were probably 50. First (and only) place went to a 1938 Bentley.
As part of the show, a local road was opened up for the public to drive, the only day of the year it is opened to cars and motorcycles since it's on private property. Took a drive up and down this very twisty 2.5 mile road - 800 feet elevation gain, 25 curves, 8 hairpins. I was pretty tentative, as I'd only driven it once before, several years ago (in a Prius), and there was traffic in both directions. Probably one of the most challenging roads in the NW USA, and a lot of fun, with great views (if you like windmills) :-)

and here's what it's like if you have no traffic coming the other way:

I never took up skateboarding - I think I was born too soon. Also looks really scary https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... 0zfoCYBRcA! The girl with no knee/elbow pads is crazy!
Used to make and ride what we used to call trolleys, though - probably still have some scars.....
