Colmworth 2024

Post by Weg » Sun Apr 07, 2024 12:14 pm

Great turn out of classic cars and bikes today but only 3 Trikings.
Great to see Throwley out again in his 1982 T1, formerly owned by Michael Sharp.

Parked me next to the bins, they did. And not for the first time. Next meet, I'll get sponsorship from the local dumpster hire firm I think.
Good to be out again, even if it involved the rest of the day spent lying on the floor getting my back straight again :-(

Lovely run down the B660 to Colmworth today on traffic free roads, blue sky with white clouds spoilt only by a light sprinkling of rain on arrival, enough to justify putting tonneau cover on but not really neaded. Potatoes are in flower, rape is nearly ready for harvest and the barley wont be far behind. Two Reverse Trikes making their debut today. Superb red Lomax piloted by Ted and navigator Steve. Then there is the mystery grey phantom T4 never before seen out in society. A superb example of the Triking brand.

Sunday 4th August 2024.
Ted in his Lomax, Andrew (out of sight) Richard in his T4, me in Clarissa then Daisey being the late arrival, didn't quite get parked in line.
Another good day.
