Super trip down today on the B660, dry road, traffic free, what could be better.
Good turn out of cars, bikes and Trikings. Playing field was getting full.
We had reserved parking just outside of the hall.

Very pleasant surprise when Amanda turned up in Daisy (now called The Rocket).

Tragically, the owner Graham Luddington passed away at the beginning of February.
We had some great runs out together, he will be sadly missed from out local 3 wheel group outings and all at Colmworth.

Heads up - Colmworth this Sunday, weather forecast looking good.

Here's a copy of the email from the organisers which includes a rare opportunity for a technician with a passion for classic cars.

Hello Everybody,
I hope you are all keeping well & hope you managed to get out & about in your various Cars & Bikes With Character over the past month? The weather has been very mixed, but we have seen quite a few of you around the area which is excellent. We just love the local community which you have all created.
Our next Sunday morning meeting is this coming Sunday 6th August. As usual, gates open at 9am & the meeting closes at 12 noon, but arrive & leave when you like. Our world-famous bacon butties, cooked & served by our amazing team of Ladies & Ian, will be available from 9am until about 11am.
Entry remains at £7 per adult & £ per child under 12 & remember we are now taking card payments as well as cash.
After costs, last month we raised just under £1400 for Colmworth Church restoration fund. All thanks to you, for supporting us. Our thanks also go out to the wonderful group of volunteers, without whom the meetings could not happen……
The weather forecast until Saturday is looking damp, but currently shows Sunday as dry & warm, lets hope it stays that way…..
We look forward to another fantastic turn out on Sunday, see you all there…..

One final thing, as some of you will know, Sharon & I run a classic car business from our home, just outside Colmworth. We currently have a vacancy for a full time Workshop Technician to join our small friendly team. If you are, or know someone who could suit this position, please apply to paul@woolmerclassic.co.uk. The role would suit either someone with previous work experience in this area, or a classic vehicle enthusiast with experience of working on their own projects. Enthusiasm is just as important to us as in-depth knowledge/experience. We always try to employ local people.
Best wishes

Paul, Steve & the FOSDC Committee

Another very pleasant Sunday morning, drove down the completely traffic free B660. Super.
Met up with Richard & Pat, Andrew F and Stuart & Pip in their 2 speeder.

Great turnout of cars on the field again, the weather was perfect and the grass dry.
The run back home through Spaldwick, Barham, Buckworth, Alconbury Weston, Woodwalton, GtRavely, Upwood was also completely traffic free.
Till next time.
