Which day is best

Post by Weg » Mon Jan 23, 2023 10:30 am

Let's have a one day Triking (and 3 wheeler) meet up in Hunts, Cambs, Northants, Beds, Lincs, Norfolk etc. Sometime in March when the weather is a bit warmer.
Weekdays have worked good in the past but doesn't suit a lot of people.
Which day is best, Saturday? Sunday?

Hi Tony, nothing would please me more; however, I'm not sure of the logistics, especially for the mileage concern for a one day meet, it will probably involve at least one overnight stay to make it enjoyable. Personally I have a bigger problem with March this year, well maybe not a problem as such, but for most of it I'll be cruising the Caribbean. 8-) I've been planning this cruise since 2020 and Covid has disrupted it for 3 years, so fingers crossed all will be well this year!!

Saturdays or Sundays are good for me, whichever is the driest ;-)

If we chose a day / weekend when Colmworth / a n other event was on that could be an added event for those who come a fair distance and stay overnight. I will investigate some B&B hereabouts if anyone else would like to do the same perhaps?
