As a first-timer at this rally, are there any special arrangements, or does one just turn up at the gate and request to be directed to the Triking stand?

If you don't have a wrist band (see peakrock's post), pay at the gate. (Also need to pay for passenger)
If you are travelling on the A14, exit J1, through Stanford on Avon, sign post Swinford, entrance to field is just past St Nicholas Church on your right. Drive up the main drive till a marshall directs you left to the main exhibit field.
