Nice picture on the Cat and fiddle pass being chased by a Rocker on a Vintage Norton. Lovely noise as he shot past.

A belated great big thank you to Guy and the team at Buxton. Life has been manic here in darkest Norfolk organising a number of events since the Triking spectacular. I had never been to the Buxton area before and was greatly impressed with the driving opportunities on offer. FL 16 alas is used to the flats of Norfolk and did struggle a bit with lots of 3rd gear work. Now we are back home, and just completed a 70 mile drive, there was no sign of the mis firing experienced at the weekend. I guess FL 16 doesn't like heights! Once again many thanks to Guy and co for an excellent meet.

An even more belated thank you to Guy, Yasko, Tony and Carol. Both Avril and myself thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to the Peak District - mind you, having said that, I have absolutely no recollection of the trip shown on Tony's video! I'm glad that he added our names to the description!! However, the drives were great, the stops were fun and the organisation was really well done. It was nice to be able to spend some time with Bob and Ann after the crowd had departed (we had another night at the hotel).

Our trip back here was pretty uneventful, with the drive from Rotterdam through the Netherlands to home taking 10 hours. I was very happy with the Tesla, although I did have to decouple the trailer twice on the way back in order to recharge it (I was able to keep the trailer attached for the others). I'm sure many would get very frustrated with an electric car, but I actually enjoy the forward planning etc.

Unfortunately I tested COVID positive two days after arriving home, and am still in quarantine. Luckily Avril has remained negative so we are enjoying wearing masks at home together.

So, best wishes to everyone, and we look forwards to seeing some of you in July close to Cologne.

David & Avril
