It’s the last breakfast meet at Colmworth on 6th Oct. for this year.
To celebrate, we are taking a 61ml trundle around the traffic free back roads of Huntingdonshire. (Tulip map available)
Meet at Colmworth Village Hall (MK44 2JX) 9 to 9-30 for breakfast, depart 11am, taking in bits of Northants on the way, going to Wansford in the far north for a half way stop. (PE8 6JA)
Continue south, west and east finishing at The Abbots Elm Inn (PE28 2PD) in Abbots Ripton for lunch at 1-45 to 2-00.
Plenty of overnight accommodation in the area for Saturday night if required, including The Abbots Elm.
Please let me know if you will be joining us and if you require a place for lunch.
Tony.

The Abbots Elm have reserved the 'Snug' for us in their lovely country pub, just need to know numbers, not what we want to eat.
Here's a typical Sunday menu, may change on the day.

Sadly, despite my previous indication to the contrary, I'm unable to join the run this time, Tony, due to being pre-booked into another event that weekend. Sorry.

Another grand day out.
Checked out the trundle route today in Edith with Bro navigating using the tulip map.
One minor one day diversion in Kimbolton for a “carnival” or something similar, turned around and used an alternative back road to Spaldwick.
Unspoilt Huntingdonshire and bits of Northants from then on. Just as traffic free as previous weekend runs.
Coffee and cake at Wansford then on to the second leg. There are a few bits of rough blacktop on the route which are well compensated for by the good stretches.
Bliss.
Currently we have 5 x 3W and 2 tintops joining in.
Tony
