DRIVE IT DAY

Post by Weg » Sun Apr 28, 2019 6:48 am

St.George’s Day was last Tuesday. Today is the Drive It Day to celebrate etc.
I’m just off for a solo run around Huntingdonshire with my flag flying.
Let’s have a report of where you have been in yours today!

My flag is to big to drive with, but will get out today with something. Have a good run.

Fantastic run------again.
43mls in 1hr20mins.
Beautiful, unspoilt Huntingdonshire.
No traffic on my route, just the odd cyclist.
Picture taken going from Coppingford to Sawtry at the heady height of about 150ft above sea level. We appreciate a good view here in the flatlands.

Dodging the showers and waiting to head off from Fakenham through the lanes for lunch at Oxborough.
Excellent day with many interesting cars on the road

Sunny 30+ miles this afternoon with plenty of waves from bikers returning from The Bike4Life Fest.
See pictures in the April Pilot Challenge.

Great day to be out and about - not just me, but lots of other people , because the weather was great, and the wildflowers are at their peak- not because it was "Drive it Day" :-). Drove my local scenic road, and then my wife and I took a great hike.

Big hills Eric---!
If anyone is totally bored with nothing to do, here's an edited video of my run. The roads really were completely empty.
