Been to Inn on the moor and menu choices will be out next week. So keep watch. We have bar meals available as you arrive on Friday between 6 and 8.30 pm Just book a table as you arrive and sign in with us. 3 Course meal on Saturday pm in private room with Quizmaster aka Richard! Evening Menu: (Two Courses = £18.95 | Three Courses = £24.95)
Starters
Homemade Soup served with a bread roll and butter. (GF*/Vg)
Homemade Chicken Liver Pate served with toast and a seasonal salad garnish.
Homemade Garlic Mushrooms in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce and served with a warm bruschetta slice. (GF*/V)
Mains
Homemade ‘Shepherdless’ Pie served with seasonal vegetables and gravy. (GF, V, Vg)
Homemade Chicken Breast and Coconut Balti served with basmati rice, plum chutney and a warm naan bread. (GF*)
Roast Topside of Beef served on a bed of creamy mashed potato with a homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and homemade roast gravy.
Desserts
Homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding served with toffee sauce and dairy ice-cream.
Homemade Strawberry Cheesecake served with fresh pouring cream. (V)
Homemade Summer fruit Pudding served with fresh pouring cream. (V)
Homemade Lemon Pot topped with freshly whipped cream and seasonal fruit. (GF*/V)
Tea or Coffee and an after-dinner mint will be available to all guests after the Dessert Course.

The meet is probably best described as a full Triking workout with no part left untested - even my windscreen wipers got a thorough thrashing! The phrase "up and down dale" is very apt with miles and miles of twisty roads then long straight runs, mega steep hills, rapid descents and even - for Mark and I - a proper ford to cross with water up to the wheel rims. We reflected that Alans Type 4 may have needed to be floated across had he gone that way (the wrong way ) ..!
It was very well organised and the main location, the Inn on the Moor, did great food too so all in all it was well worth making the trip up to renew/extend friendships and enjoy that unique feeling of driving in a Triking convoy!
