Is there anyone who has a good tip on what I can do with my tired left foot during longer drives in a type 3 ?

Are you in a left hand drive Triking? If RHD then a small support on the tunnel is a great help. Can send a picture.

I had the same problem, and made a flip-away left footrest for mine -I posted about it here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=730

Here are the types I have made Large adjustable item on a RHD T3 and the other just a short length of Aluminium angle on a T4
I was thinking for LHD you could stick a couple of lengths of 5mm x 12mm Aluminium strip to the body sides vertically having first countersunk and tapped M4 with the remainder of the M4 bolts sticking out then the Mk 1 style could be bolted on in the suitable position?
