Caster

Post by AndyR » Wed Feb 28, 2024 11:18 am

The brief manual I have is clear on camber and tracking but it specifies a starting caster setting of 7 degrees but doesn't say if this is positive or negative caster.

Also my chassis is lower on the driver's side. I assume the only way to adjust this is shock tension?

Help please.....

Hi Andy
The castor angle is leaning back.
A setting of 5-6deg is about ideal, over that figure may make the car less stable at speed.

Chassis being lower on one side may be spring tension setting on shockers, also check that they are both the same length when extended.

Put a search in on here (Quick links above) for castor, comes up with some good reading.
