Gearbox oil filler point?

Post by AndyR » Tue Jan 30, 2024 4:43 pm

Looking at the Guzzi workshop manual and the Triking manual I was helpfully sent, the gearbox has a bolt to check the level, a drain bolt under the box and a filler bolt.

Mine has a rubber plug for the filler I think. It looks to be in the right place but just want to be sure.

Photo attached.

Thanks

Andy

That's the gearbox filler, yes, but that's not a rubber plug. It's a cover/bung for the gearbox filler plug and fits into the hex recess of the plug to prevent it filling with muck and stopping the Allenkey from engaging properly. The rear drive bevel box should have one too, iirc. Flip it out and you'll see...
