Dashboard Complete (well almost)

Post by Lowpass » Sun Jan 28, 2024 12:58 am

Copied from my Facebook post:New dashboard in and running. Have a bit of a gauge mismatch to sort. I replaced the Veglia oil pressure gauge with a mechanical one when the sending unit failed. If I can find a replacement sensor I will switch back and the center gauges will match. The white face tach was installed when I bought the car along with a black one in the spare parts cashe. Assumed the white one was fitted for compatibility with the Centauro engine change over. Turns out the black faced gauge is the same 3 terminal electronic Veglia gauge as the white one, it just doesn't work anymore. Seems nobody repairs these anymore so I'm in search of a black one. Still need to sort the gauge backlights which are non-functional at the moment. This was also the case with the previous rocker dashboard. It's always something!

Bob, No need to compress phots this small, if you aim for 4-500kb, we will then be able to click on them to open up to give much clearer detail. Thanks for posting on here.

Thanks Tony, I tried in the next size up but it wouldn't load. Maybe had too many pictures for the medium setting.

Thanks Richard, reasonably happy with it. Going for a throw back look with the light switch and toggles. Got the Panal lighting sorted this afternoon. Now if could just find a black Guzzi electronic tach and Veglia Oil Pressure sender the dash would be all set. Only took 3 SPDT relays to get the Hazards working!
