Grease points

Post by AndyR » Fri Dec 29, 2023 4:08 pm

I have now stripped down the Triking and am half way through my Winter list of jobs. Having only owned it for a few months, I have a couple of questions, the first being:

What needs greasing and how often?

I also have a problem with the grease nipple on the front bearing on the driveshaft which is inaccessible due to the hole in the chassis not being correctly aligned. Can I realign it (how) or will I need to enlarge the access hole? I have tried to attach a picture, but even lowest resolution says too big - any ideas?

"I Believe" the grease nipple for the front prop shaft bear does not grease the bearing, only it's housing which is in a static position. Bearing itself is sealed.

Swinging arm bearings need grease. Axel in Germany came up with a regular maintenance solution. I wrote about it here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=454&p=2818&hilit=sw ... ring#p2818
