Brake pads

Post by Rune » Thu Dec 02, 2021 5:47 pm

I need new brake pads, and my local motorcycle dealer wants to know which model they come from, does anyone know? The brake caliper is a Grimeca

I think you will need more information than that Rune. Can you identify the model from the engine number? Pictures and dimensions of the calliper and the current pads would also help perhaps.

Hi Rune
I seem to recall that you built your Triking back in about 2017 so perhaps your brakes and front suspension were supplied by Al at Triking HQ.
Try contacting Al.
Tony.
ps. Would you like a Triking 2022 Calendar?

Speaking of brake pads, I was curious if there was something a bit more grippy for my T4 than the stock Norge GU01654630 pads.

I’d go with these: https://www.af1racing.com/Ferodo-Sinter ... Brake-Pads
def better stronger pads than stock, but you are still hampered by the disc size, caliper type, and weight of the vehicle….2x what the bike weighs.

Plus shipping that's almost $200 US (150 GBP) for both fronts. Is there an alternative?
