E10 Petrol ?

What are people doing in regard to the new E10 petrol being introduced this year? Will you be using E5 petrol from now on or using the new E10? I saw this on the MCN website which suggests that we'll need to use E5...

"Piaggio (who own Moto Guzzi and Aprilia) were the least E10-friendly manufacturer in 2012, saying that all motorbikes built before 2011 would not be compatible with the fuel"

Denise and I hope to be 'Triking' next month - we're planning to use 97 octane wherever possible, mixed with Millers VSPe PowerPlus Multishot 500ml (Halfords sell it), which I noted was suggested in the last few weeks on the Morris Minors Owners Club site re: the E10 questions.
Yes - a little difference between my Minor and soon to be Triking :)))
I have used octane boosters in the past, which worked well for my uses at the time - although I am not an engineer it seems a possible answer/solution to possible quandary/concerns as it lists
over to the engineers amongst us :)

Isn’t the problem with E10 , is it eats and disintegrates pipes and seals on older fuel systems?

I gather that this fuel has been in use in the Netherlands for some time now. I found this link that may be of use: https://www.e10check.nl/motorscooter/moto-guzzi/

According to that site, engine codes beginning with ZGUKDE, ZGUKDG, ZGUKDH, ZGUKDL and ZGUKDM are OK. Unfortunately it doesn't say why some models aren't compatible, it may just be hoses or it may be more fundamental than that.

Information available on the net:
If your petrol vehicle or equipment is not compatible with E10 fuel, you will still be able to use E5 by purchasing the 'super' grade (97+ octane) petrol ...

I am filling up with E5 (Premium unleaded)

The government guidance doesn't cover the why we shouldn't use it:

However a few other sites, such as the AA (link below) mention that ethanol is hygroscopic and the increase to 10% therefore can lead to condensation in fuel tanks, corrosion and damage to seals.

I've been wondering why the small increase in ethanol could be so catastrophic; I'm a cynic by nature and rarely take information from the meeja at face value. I found a reference to the following article in a FB group which seems to have been written by a kindred spirit.
