I've completed the work on the fuel section for my Triking build so here are some photos to show you how I did it for mine. I decided to install an inline fuel valve in the tunnel so I don't have to drain the fuel tanks if I need to replace the pump or when I replace the filter. This is followed by the primary filter which can be dismantled and cleaned.

I mounted the fuel pump near the front of the tunnel so there was a clear space to get at the bracket from underneath if/when it needs replacing at some point. The outlet from the pump is 12mm so I had to get a 12mm to 8mm adapter (Car Builder Solutions) as the rest of the fuel system is 8mm. The fuel pump hose goes to the main filter which then outlets to the fuel pressure regulator.

I made a bracket for the main filter which bolts to the back of the steering rack crossmember where it sits nicely out of the way, I also made a protective shield that goes from the crossmember to the square tube section. The fuel regulator sits at the bottom of the nearside tunnel opening which generally makes the fuel hose runs neat. I bought my chassis in bare metal form from Triking so I was able to weld "captive nuts" on the tunnel making it a one man job to attach the cable/hose/pipe P clips from inside the tunnel. I also used Rivnuts on the brackets I made such as the fuel filter as it makes dismantling easier when servicing. The locations of all the components means that servicing has to be done from underneath but it is at least very accessible and simple to take apart and put back together.

Thank you for the photos. That's a very good idea to have a shut off valve and I shall install one . i have almost completed loosely fitting the parts to the chassis to make sure I have all the necessary parts to complete a rolling chassis.
