Roy, who bought the west country Triking that Richard F spotted at auction and has an odd noise that he is worried about. I have suggested U/J's touching the chassis or swing arm tube. What else might it be as it only happens on overrun? Any advice for our new owner please?
Roy lives out Cheshire way I think.

Re: Rumble on overrun
I had a strange noise on mine last summer, eventually, after a great deal of head scratching, it turned it to be that I’d fitted one of the clutch plates (flywheel side) the wrong way around. The fault didn’t show itself until the plate was half worn. It’s probably not the problem with this build but I thought I’d throw it into the mix.

Was it on overrun Richard?
Re: Rumble on overrun
We really need to know more about the noise. Is it coming from the drive train and if so towards the front or the rear? Does it have a reverse box? Can he describe the noise - what does it sound like?
Re: Rumble on overrun
As steveO has said much more info is needed. Is Roy on the Forum?
I may be able to and am willing to try to help, not to far to Cheshire for me. Maybe a PM to enable direct contact with him.
