Under the bonnet.
Fit the wiper motor and actuators before fitting the body.

Thank you Tony, I need to be clearer in my questions.
Regarding location I should have said at what angle or how does one define the angle of attachment under the bonnet on the lip below the windscreen?
Your photo will be a help as it looks as though the bolt holes are parallel to the screen horizontally.

First picture was Florence.
This is Edith, just took the bonnet off specially to take another picture!
Note the strut to give more stability to the G/F mounting area.

I think the main thing is to get the axis of the motor drive pointing in the same direction as the axes of the holes in the fiberglass for the wiper blade "spindles", which is pretty much guaranteed because the angle of the wiper support tab is designed to make this happen . I don't think the clock position of the motor is very important - just try and get the motor to a position where the hold down bolts are not too close to the edge of the tab. Then you just have to play around with the lengths of the two rods driving the wipers until everything seems to work properly, and in phase - easier said than done . Then when you switch on the wipers and watch the tab flex, it'll make your day :-)
I had to cut an inch or two off my wiper blades to stop them hitting the windscreen supports - I now have the shortest wipers I've ever seen.

Oleg's installation. The only thing I would add is that you will find it useful for future access to cut a port in the top of the glove-box.
