Reverse box bushings

Flush to the front? Centered? Or flush to the rear...or does it matter.
(Sorry about the pic, forum rotated it 180)

Frederick - Here's Alan's advice from the "Build Guide", with a photo
app.php/build-guide?sid=9763dd680a5e7f3 ... 5dc70c05d7

How come my wiring doesn't look anything like that in the photo

Don't know whether the tunnel is the same size on the Type 4 as on my Type 2, which has less than 1/8" clearance between the reverse gearbox and the RHS of the tunnel, which causes loud thrumming noises on RH turns without a passenger, presumably due to torque on the gearbox bushings and/or flexing of the tunnel causing the gearbox to touch the side of the tunnel. May only occur on LHD Trikings, due to weight distribution . Would advise that if you also only have about !/8", jam/glue some sort of soft cushioning in that gap while you have easy access.
