Nova Reverse Gearbox

Should there be a crush washer on the drain plug of the Nova Reverse Gearbox?

I use a red fibre washer, but a soft aluminium or copper would do, same as a sump-plug.

Thanks. I just happened to have a 20mm aluminium crush washer lying about!
