Driver Having Problems.....

Post by EricStarmer » Mon Jul 04, 2022 5:13 pm

Been teaching a friend of mine how to drive the Triking - says he's not used to the primitive mechanical controls - keeps asking where the warp drive button is,,,,,

May be prudent to explain about the lack of on board diagnostics.

He's not used to things malfunctioning, so diagnostics are "alien" to him.

If he was in a UK build the problem would be he’s in the wrong seat😎

I'm surprised this picture wasn't entered for this months Triking Pilot's Challenge.

Put him in the other seat and you’re all set for the HOV lanes

Good idea Frederick, except there are no HOV lanes within 80 miles of me - would be fun to drive around with him/her - the Triking itself gets plenty of attention - Triking plus alien would go viral (especially on Facebook UFO sites) !

If you had a right hand drive here in the US you could put a dummy steering wheel on the left side and have your friend drive. Im sure it would confuse a few people. Its like the reverse gear lever. Whenever I get asked what its for I reply, "four wheel drive" and quickly leave letting them ponder the answer.
