Triking Pilot's Challenge 2022

Post by Richard and Pat » Sat Jun 25, 2022 10:21 am

I have been informed it is about time we reintroduced the competition we last ran in 2019. The Triking Pilots challenge.
The objective is to have a purpose or excuse for a quick trip out and to take a picture of your car with the current month’s chosen subject/brief in the same shot. The multifarious ways in which the chosen subject can be wangled to fit the brief are as astounding as they are outrageous. The word was Bury I got a picture of a Triking outside a Churchyard [perfectly within the rule] Several shots of the local Sainsbury’s car park containing a Triking or two and one under a sign Bury Hill. Marvellous! Just what’s required.

There is only one serious rule*: If you don’t want your Triking featured as a damning Sun headline: no moving shots unless by passenger; No compromising Driver, Passenger or Other road user’s safety with dangerous activity. Shan’t accept photos that look dodgy in THIS respect. Otherwise everything to be ENJOYED. *Other rules will be dreamt up if I need to.

There will be heat winners each month and a favourite [mine] from all that month’s entries regardless of quantity of entries per pilot. Thereby two possible top guns per month. Post your entries in either of three places: 1. the Lounge section [here] of the Forum under: Triking Pilots challenge 2022’ 2. on the Triking Sports car Owners page on Fadebook or 3. Direct to me sr5664 at gmail.com if you are not a web user.

The first category/word/brief/subject is: TRIKING So anything beginning with 'T' Containing 'tri' in that order or 'king' in that order. Off you jolly well go as Jimmy Young used to say in my youth.

May be in the rules but a good run out anyway.
