Best to leave things a bit later; it is Spring here, after all, ideal for flowers.

Wattle Glen station, with some wattle in the foreground. It's a single track, platform - and thus station signs - on this side. Luckily, the fire brigade are advertising.

This is a piece of wattle,
The symbol of our land,
You can put it in a bottle,
Or hold it in your hand.

Just dropped in for a spot of lunch. Grand Final day here in Victoria, everyone else is at home, glued to the TV.

The "Lotus Allure" in Hurstbridge. A place neither lotus-like, nor alluring.

JFerg's the winner this month, Paul got two, Tony was the first to respond but you at least got one in Richard.

Well that is a hands down win for Paul in Oleg in the home competition and for JFerg in the overseas section. Well done chaps.

October already, the nights are drawing in and it is getting colder in the shed. I wonder if there should be another Challenge this month as we are on the cusp of winter or spring depending where you are?
September ended with a flurry of entries mostly from Paul and JFerg, with low entries from the usual suspects and I thought it was the easiest one I had ever set. Too easy perhaps?
Working on the new Trifles currently, so if you have anything to send in now is the time please.
