Took a short drive along the Columbia River (it's over 1200 miles long)

Lovely smooth video, superb scenery, no chance of running into the river!
All we have locally is North Bank along side of the River Nene.
I'll record it one day for comparison---!
Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Tony - I did have a problem with the camera not being set quite level (hard to tell on small screen in sunlight) - had to use VLC media player to straighten it out and then crop it a little to get rid of the dark triangles left in the corners from rotating. For some reason, though, VLC media player didn't rotate the music caption, only the actual video, as you can see (I edited the movie initially in Movie Maker, which will only rotate 90 deg. )
I may try gluing a bubble level to the top of the GoPro in future.

Have another one in the works taken on the same day, so it will also need some rotation etc. :-(

I'm sure the River Nene is at least as beautiful, just in a more bucolic way !

Very nice Eric, I fear if I tried the same thing on some of our rough Norfolk roads I'd need a gyroscopically stabilised camera. I'll try it when I've built the next Triking with the "comfort" suspension upgrade..

Thank you, Dave - I'm actually amazed at how well the stabilization on the more recent GoPros works, even over pretty rough roads . I have a Hero 6 Black, and the Hero 7 is supposed to have even better stabilisation, although that seems pretty difficult.
