When pheasant shooting, the action for getting the bods into the air is called a drive, usually done by people (boys and men are sexist) with sticks, tapping the trees and bushes. The hound could do the same job but his cousins, spaniels, Labradors, etc are used for picking-up.

Came across The White Hart on the same run.

Have added to whilst out testing the suspension, one is a double Yolker; however, reducing the picture down to allow posting has blurred the sign, it should read: Cheddon Fitzpaine and please drive carefully. The other reads 2/2 Mile. I will have to get closer to the signs. ๐Ÿค”
