Hello All,

I am new to the forum and a new owner / builder of a Type 3.

I purchased it from Johann at Triking USA and had a great experience.
I am in the middle of the build right now and will try to post some pics soon. The build is coming along quite nicely and am enjoying every minute of it.

Reading through all these posts has been very helpful in answering questions that I have had so far.

Ivan

Glad you have found our ramblings useful, there's loads more on the old forum archive (see Quick links dropdown above)

Any problems, let us know.

Welcome Ivan, Johann is a great resource isn't he.

I'm in California just starting a T4 kit he ordered for me...
now in the middle of disemboweling a pristine '08 Norge donor.

Yes, Johann has been great at answering questions and so has Alan. You don't get this kind of service at a Toyota dealer.

My first exposure to a Triking was in 1998 after I purchased my Ducati Monster. I was in downtown Minneapolis at a red light and a three wheeled contraption pulled up next to me. I looked over and saw it had Guzzi power and was immediately intrigued. I said "Hi, I like it." and the light turned green and we went out seperate ways. Years later I saw it again at a mutual friends wedding and found out the owner was a friend of mine. Fast forward many more years and we live about 10 miles from each other and he stops by with it every now and then.

Then last summer he and his wife stopped by with the Triking and he let me take it for a drive. My wife rolled her eyes and knew it was all over. I looked online and found Triking USA. Talked to Johann and next thing I know I have a crate of parts in my garage.

Indeed, one drive is all it takes. The two that took mine for a spin both ordered one!

Richard and I took Johann and James out for a run when they came to England. Look what happened there--!
