Insurance

Post by V10Mike » Fri Mar 01, 2024 8:38 am

I have insured my Triking with Adrian Flux since purchase; last year the premium went up about 40% which was bad enough, but this year it has increased again by a further one hundred pounds, more than double in two years.

Have other owners had similar experiences? Can anyone suggest other insurers I should contact who might be more reasonable?

Thanks!

Mike

Have a look at the list on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/156599248504621
it lists most insurance companies starting with Lynbrook Insurance 01277 243040 James Carro.

Thanks, I've managed to find a provider who nearly matches last years rate, plus has a much lower excess.

I've been with Flux for years, my premium hasn't changed at all in the last two years! I don't get how the insurance companies seem to just pluck figures from the air. Other than 'cos buying their product is compulsory.

Who did you go with this year, Mike, in case they do it to me this time round?

It's a mystery isn't it? I'm now with Footman James. I found the online system very easy and the follow up phone call friendly and professional.

Even more interesting...

FJ declined to insure my Triking a few years back as they 'don't insure bike engined cars'!
