Team-work.
Flat ring spanner came out of Richards tool kit (was it returned?), cable ties from a n other, superb engineering by Bob.
Over the years, that green car does seem to have been victim to the odd breakdown.

In my experience, temporary bodges like that have a tendency to be less temporary than expected. I still have a Snap-On ratchet handle welded onto the stub of my kick starter arm which was a get-me-going bodge at least five years ago...

Yes remember it well Somerset 2016, excellent!
Picture of the on roadside repair, you have to use what is available at the time, in contrast to Rocket Mans better engineered job for travel back to Germany.
