Bogus members

Post by Weg » Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:51 am

I check the new member applications daily, there are generally 10 to 15 most of which are bogus being advertising or marketing of some description.
I delete them, only the odd genuine one gets through which are easily spotted.

Well done that Man.
It wouldn't be so bad if the superb Tee-shirts advertised ( its ALWAYS Tee-shirts ) actually existed to buy. I have seen some really great ones on Facebook, but of course they are all scammers.

Thanks for keeping an eye on that. It’s good someone is filtering them out. Hopefully we’ll see a few more genuine builders joining as spring approaches.
