UJ Bearings check
Just a reminder to keep an eye on the two UJ’s that do all the work transferring the power from the engine to the rear wheel. I started to hear a slight rumbling noise from the rear of the car, took a guess that it was possibly the rear UJ. Stripped out the swinging arm and my thoughts were correct,...

Re: Newsletter Trifles
Another great copy of Trifles has just turn up, Number 7 March 2021, well done Richard, I didn’t expect such a full copy under these present conditions. We’ll have to try and keep up with your enthusiasm to put Trifles together by sending you plenty of our Triking moments, plus anything that may int...

Re: New Member Nova Scotia
Looks great, it will be different from the Caterham and Elise but in a good way, you’ll get the rush of speed within the speed limits. Enjoy.

Brake fluid change
It’s always the last thing you think about when servicing vehicles, well it is for me at least; however, I’ve just got around to replacing the brake fluid and it’s not until you see what comes out that you realise it probably should have been changed sooner. I’m just using the standard dot 4 fluid a...

Re: New Member Nova Scotia
Sad news about the Caterham 7, one of my favourite cars, good to here you came out of the accident ok, these sort of cars don’t give to much protection from big tin tops.

Re: Looking for a Triking
I agree, build one yourself, the thrill you get when you take it on the road for for the very first time you’ll never forget. The backing from Alan Lazell is second to none, he treats everyone as if you’re the only customer he has. A good idea would be to contact Alan, and if it’s a ready built one ...

Re: Brooklands windscreen mounts
I’ve always like the look of Brookland screens and what you’ve done looks really great, I did think about going down that road when I was building my T3; however, because I like to do a lot of touring (sadly not at the moment) I I went the touring screen route, especially as the wife wanted a hood f...
