Re: Alternator/Stator
I second the choice for Euromotor electrics.
Fitted to both my Series 1 Triking and my Guzzi Convert. Never had a problem in about 8 years they have been fitted.
I get all my Guzzi bits from Harpers or MG cycle in the US, but not these.

Re: Quieter exhaust.
Hi, I use EMGO silencers here in Calgary. Think I paid around $60 US each. At that price almost disposable. They have been on for about 4 years and good quality. Nice V twin sound louder than my MG Convert, but nothing like as loud as the various HDs I have owned. Seems there web site is down for ma...

Re: Resonance patch
Thanks Andy, Think best to measure my car as all hand built. Thinking of getting a piece folded so it covers both top surface and extends down the sides some what. Will need to take account of the centre bearing, but can mill the base down to compensate. Also thinking folded angle might work along t...

Re: Resonance patch
Hi Andy, I think I will do your mod with 2mm plate. Should have done it sometime ago. Sound deadening will only change the frequency of a vibration not remove it, but still worth doing. The tunnel is the main structural member of a Triking so I am going to try the flexing test and loosening and reti...

Re: Resonance patch
Hi, I have a 1985 without reverse here in Calgary and have the thrumming After trying to find the cause unsuccessfully I put it down to part of Triking ownership. May try some heavy bitumen type sound deadening. I have checked and lubed the drive shaft bearings, but makes no difference. There is no ...

Re: Fuel sender unit Type 1
If fitting a vertical type you could leave the existing installed without the float arm and use just as a fuel pipe.

Re: Fuel sender unit Type 1
Hi, I gave up on this after we spoke a couple of years back. Alan could not help. It turned out mine was petrol in the float and a Jeep one fitted. $5 and of course $10 postage lol. These are a single winding of wire on a bobbin and could be repaired/rewound if stuck. Sounds complicated, but used to...
