Re: Triking Pilots Challenge July 2019

First day of bird hunting season, so I went out and bagged a few - the third one's a hawk, by the way.

Re: Triking "Cannonball"

Many thanks Brian for your great write-up and photos of your Cannonball trip in the latest edition of "Trifles". Still can't imagine how you and your co-pilot made it through all that in one piece and in such a short time - guess I wasn't born to be a record - breaker. However, I do think that sitti...

Re: MOT Day

Thanks, Oleg - If I'd read your previous post more slowly I would have gathered that, although it seems that most people ( including me) have the bolts going in from the outside. Your method appeals to me.

A drive through local orchard country

It was a nice sunny day, so I took a drive with my GoPro through local orchard country - here's the result

Not too exciting, as the roads are quite straight - need to go back when the trees are in bloom.

Re: MOT Day

That's great !
Thanks for the info. on the bonnet - you must have sprayed the bolts white, since I couldn't see them in the photo.

Re: MOT Day

Hi, Oleg - hope everything worked out OK !
How is your bonnet held down, front and back? I don't see any bolts, and I'm always looking for other peoples solutions.

Re: Where the Pavement Ends

Thanks, Tony . I have a Gopro 6 Black. The 7 apparently has better stabilization, but I didn't want to pay the extra $80-$100, and the 6 seems pretty good. By "double soundtrack", I'm not sure whether you mean the two songs or the fact that you can hear the engine and the music at the same time. Thi...

Where the Pavement Ends

Got myself a new Gopro, with video stabilization, as my other one was at least 10 years old, and not so good. Drove some local backroads to try it out, and the video is definitely smoother (would probably be smoother still if I had the "comfort front suspension"). A lot of local roads are sparsely p...
