Spaniard - I have a Type 2, but have Grimeca brakes also. Richard - Maybe the edge(s) of my brake pads are catching on the brake disc slots, and then they "tip" and jam against the disc, causing some braking - or possibly the piston(s) are dirty and not releasing properly. That's interesting - for the past few weeks I've had a problem where the car slows down as though the brakes have been applied, and I've recently associated it with a rapid clicking noise which seems to come from the left front wheel, although when I let go of the steering wheel the car doesn't pull...

Not sure what the mystery was (after I discovered there was "another" St. Ives), but a nice drive, and Broughton looks like a nice little village.
Maybe this points to a Pilot's Challenge - find signposts with mileages that add up to ?

Re. the first one - I've seen better-looking riding mowers - come to think of it, maybe it's a riding mower conversion. Re. the second one - I think that for "us guys" the steering wheel should be raised a little. On the other hand, it's LHD/RHD ambidextrous, so can be driven anywhere In the world. ...
