Car cover

Anyone have a dimensioned pattern or template for a Triking car cover?
Of course an old flannel sheet will work just fine but can’t hurt to ask.

Re: Build tread (kind of)

Welcome. what other parts came with your donor motor? I started with an '08 Norge 1200 donor and used the recommended K&N filters adopting the stock crank vent body...ugly but hidden under the nose. CRANKVENT.jpg I'm building a T4 which I believe is somewhat similar to yours. I'm about 3/4 done with...

Re: Electrics - oh no!

If it’s not a blown bulb or bad ground somewhere, it may be a short.

One of the turn indicators in my T4 kit was grounding out inside the housing.
In the manufacturing of the bulb base, one of the wires got pinched and cut thru, exposing bare wire.

an easy fix but a nightmare to track down.

driving tips

curious if there are any special tricks to driving these vehicles, esp how to enter, apex and exit a corner. Lots of Morgan 3W videos, interesting track comparison with a Caterham 7 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo5jGM5kSNE Seems to be very stable thru a corner but the 3W is quite a bit heav...

Slick! Solves where to put the “bonnet” when you take it off. How’s access to the motor’s fiddly bits?

Re: Bonnet Fasteners

For a vintage look I’m using spring loaded hold downs...two bonnet rear, two deck lid top. Bonnet front and deck bottom I’m planning long threaded wing screws.
