Hi Throwley Are your rims aluminium? Our Type 1, no long owned, was, as I think the majority of Type 1s are, Akront/Morad aluminium. Very nice rims, but if they are the originals they are now well over 30 years old and have endured a stressful life guiding your Triking. From my experience, even and ...

Hi Richard Is this the type of wheel your friend is looking for? 13" dia. The boss with it, I think, is Mini. It was fitted to our Type 1 onto the original boss. I replaced it with a wood rim. Simple job to fit if the original boss is available and is as mine was. Rim and ally is in good condition. ...

Hi JFerg A different way with the straight pull reel mounted low down and the belts being turned in the dead space behind and as near as is possible to the top of the seat back. Works well although care is needed in loading luggage behind the seat so not to trap the belt recoil. However Richards com...
