Re: Rumble on overrun
We really need to know more about the noise. Is it coming from the drive train and if so towards the front or the rear? Does it have a reverse box? Can he describe the noise - what does it sound like?

Re: Rust
No help at all, but I found moving to Calgary in Canada the best solution as no rust at all ever!!!!!!!!!
Naval Jelly used to be pretty good, but many phosphate based rust converters will work and can be painted over if only surface rust.

Tech tip - ball joint fitting
Hi, I see a lot of builders having trouble pulling the tapers of ball joints into place with the nyloc nuts (me included) . Find an ordinary nut with the same thread and the tapers pull together much easier. Just change out the nut for the nyloc when in place. You only need one ordinary nut. Hope he...

Re: Heater
Eric,
What about a gasoline burning heater from an air cooled VW if you can find one. They were fitted to the VW "Thing" and maybe other models. Size might be an issue. I have been thinking along these lines to extend the driving season up here in Calgary.

Re: Triking Around Calgary
Hi, Turned out I loaded the unedited version of the video, but will leave as is and do better next time. This was a try out so next year will make a couple more particularly the mountains and the Alberta Bad Lands. Speed limits vary by road. Main hiways are 110 kmph (65 -70 mph). I think the last ro...

Triking Around Calgary
Hi, Further to "show us where you drive" on the old forum I posted a video "Triking Around Calgary" to u-tube (seems I loaded it under my wife's account?) https://youtu.be/ehrw1Z7znQo The upload seems to have removed the titles and annotations? This was my first attempt at using u-tube so may have m...

Re: Movement in the Drivetrain
On the bikes you get a lot of vibration in the right foot board/peg when the swing arm UJ is on its way out. Unfortunately there are two on the Triking so could be either. Their being relatively new does not help. Some people take them off the bike and soak overnight in engine oil, don't know if tha...

Re: New Forum Appearance
Got to say the new forum is much easier to log into or just open, the old was taking so long the gateway would timeout. In Windows the easiest way to zoom in is Control plus the + sign and Control - to get back, the more you hit the more it zooms. Do miss being able to search all the old knowledge, ...

Tony
Count me in for a calendar.
Something to look at and feel jealous when the snow is on the ground!
Came early this year 10", but should go again for the next month or so.
Thanks
