Nothing's too trivial , John - we were all "newbies" once, me in particular, not having ever been a motorcycle rider, and I still am puzzled by a lot of Triking minutae, like "why is the ignition key under the dashboard"

Hello, John - I think the main thing is to have the strength in your arms and shoulders to raise your body up high enough to get your leg over the side. I do notice that my gearchanges are quieter when I start out on cold mornings, presumably because the oil in the gearboxes is thicker.

Must have been the camera angle - that's actually smaller than mine, which is about 34cm. I'm not sure what is "normal", but I believe some people have problems with clearance between the wheel and their upper legs. I also have a steering wheel "quick disconnect" which makes it easier to get in and ...

Maybe it's camera distortion, but that seems like a big steering wheel - what is the diameter ?
