Re: New Years Day Run 2022 in Hunts.
Hunts a bit far for me so went for a spirited 3/4 hour thrash out to The Black Swan at Fradley Junction (Staffordshire) with my Son providing ballast. The car is much more stable with 2 adults for balance. Lots of bikes and people sat outside and a generally good time was had by all.

Re: Caster angles???
How are you all measuring the caster angles on your cars? I have the car up on stands so the suspension is fully extended. I have made sure the car is level using a spirit level along the floor-pan. I have a digital angle tester (inclinometer) stuck to the flat face on the front of the suspension "u...

Re: Cat C donor
I still have all of the remains of my donor bike. It is registered to me and is on SORN. I understand a new age related registration number will be issued by DVLA once all the inspections are passed etc. I would like to use the registration number from the donor bike. Has anyone any knowledge of whe...

Re: Steering adjustment
Dave peakrock is correct when he says a small adjustment makes a big difference. I had in mind the two steering arms being hugely different, when in fact it was just 2 turns on one side and one on the other to correct the tracking. I have reduced the mudguard bracket clearance each side by 10mm so a...

Steering adjustment
I have been fitting my front mudguards which has made me realise that the amount of full steering lock is different side to side. As things stand I cannot fit the passengers side guard without it fouling against the pipe (it aint gonna pass MSVA like that!). Drivers side is perfect but still has som...

Front mudguard installation
I am currently installing my front mudguards using Triking mild steel brackets. I found I had to do some careful bending (straightening) to make them clear the tyres. I have Heidenau sidecar tyres installed with a square profile. I now have about 15mm clearance between the bracket and tyre, so I am ...

Re: Cali EV fuel injection
I checked this out and you are correct. Particularly where people have been encapsulating components. I sealed my ECU lids down with minimal bead of silicon so I really hope it's cured and the contained gas will disperse or go inert over time. Wish I had known this earlier.
