I'll be having a run out on 1st January, weather permiting. Forecast is looking good.
I collected Simon to spend Christmas day with us doing a 30ml round trip.
This time it will be a longer run going through Newborough, Peakirk, Deeping StJames, Crowland and Thorney. Home for lunch.

Re: Neutral light
I would first check that the switch works using a separate bulb. There is a live feed to the bulb which then earths out through the neutral switch to turn light on. I'm not familiar with Jackal instruments but looks like you will have to drill out the bulb holder and start with a new one. Disconnect...

Re: Grease points
"I Believe" the grease nipple for the front prop shaft bear does not grease the bearing, only it's housing which is in a static position. Bearing itself is sealed. Swinging arm bearings need grease. Axel in Germany came up with a regular maintenance solution. I wrote about it here http://forum2.trik...

Re: fuel injection
I have not yet experienced an injected engine that will go back down to a sensible tick-over when instructed to. For example, when using the engine for braking. The revs always stay too high till the need for engine braking has gone. A carbed engine always seems to have a better feel to it, and does...

Re: fuel injection
Hi Simon, winter in Nova Scotia must be harsh so working on the kitchen table is allowed. Must be a problem getting the engine up there. I have PHF36 carbs on both my T2s and they start 1st turn of the key and tickover nicely at 800rpm. Please don't open the can of worms being fuel injection, it wou...
